Here is a picture of a second-generation 1991 Integra. Not by any means a new car, but Honda obviously decided long ago that it was best to draw air from a place other than the engine compartment. Not only that, but Honda went to some elaborate lengths to ensure that the intake was as quiet as possible, with TWO resonance chambers!

So, check to see if you already have one of these systems before giving away large sums of money for aftermarket devices that may buy you nothing but headaches later on...
